CLINICS
Well Person Clinics The Practice Nurses will be happy for you to book a well person check with them. For ladies, if this includes having a smear, please let reception know at the time of booking as the appointment needs to be longer to allow for this.
Diet All nurses hold clinics where you can obtain dietary advice. The nurses can give advice on exercise and how to lose weight. They can also refer you to our Lifestyle Advisor, who has a weekly clinic at the practice.
Child Immunisation clinics These clinics are held weekly on Tuesday afternoons. The Health Authority usually call you in for these immunisations according to the age of your child. If you have any questions on concerns regarding immunisation, please feel free to telephone the Practice Nurses for their advice.
Chronic Disease Clinics If you are suffering from one of the diseases below, or have done in the past you will be called in for a yearly review or asked to have repeat blood tests.
Stress clinic Dr Freeman runs a weekly clinic for anxiety and stress related problems. These appointments are 30 minutes long. Your GP is able to refer you to these if he / she feels this appropriate management for you.
Acupuncture Dr Freeman performs acupuncture alternate Friday afternoons. Your GP can refer you for this, if this treatment is an option for your condition.
Annual Flu Clinics We hold flu clinics in October, November and December every year. Some of these clinics are held on Saturdays (please see notice board for details) other clinics are held on various times and days.
If you suffer from any of the following conditions it is recommended that you have an annual flu jab.
Results Please do not telephone for results in the mornings. Some results take a while to locate and this is very difficult to do when the surgery is at its’ busiest. Please telephone after 2 p.m. on 853888
