PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Please let us know as soon as possible if you change your address or telephone number.
- When needing a home visit try to give the receptionist as much information about the problem as you can and please try to ring in before 10 a.m.
- Treat all Practice staff with respect and courtesy at all times
- Keep your appointments or let us know if you cannot attend
- Only use the emergency service as an emergency
- Respect our premises and facilities
Complaints Procedure
We recognise that at times problems may arise with the services we provide. Should you wish to make a complaint, please do the following:-
- Please write to the Practice Manager, outlining your complaint, giving dates and names of persons involved
- The Practice Manager will acknowledge your letter within 14 days of receipt. She will then further investigate the problem and write to you again within 21 days with an explanation and hopefully a resolution.
- If your complaint involves a doctor, we will offer you the opportunity to discuss this with the GP concerned should you wish to do so.
- If we do not resolve your problem as you would like, you may write to the PALS and Complaints Co-ordinator, Hastings & Rother PCT, Bexhill Hospital, Holliers Hill, Bexhill on Sea.TN40 2DZ
The Practice has the right to remove patients from their list who abuse the staff whether verbally or physically. If necessary we will take legal action against offending persons. The surgery will also not tolerate racially directed abuse or remarks.
Suggestions
The Practice welcomes suggestions and ideas from our patients. If you would like to put one forward please put this in writing to the Practice Manager.
